The basics
How much does it cost to hire plastic moving boxes in Sydney?
Crates are $4 each for two weeks with a five-crate minimum, so a small job starts at $20. Packs are better value in bulk: $99 for 25 crates, up to $249 for 100. Every price includes delivery, collection, dollies, cable ties and labels anywhere north of the Harbour Bridge up to Palm Beach.
How long can I keep the crates?
Two weeks is included. Extra weeks are $20 per 25 crates. Message us before your collection date and we'll move it.
Do you deliver on weekends and Sundays?
Yes. Seven days including Sundays: 7am–7pm weekdays, 8am–5pm weekends. Pick a two-hour window at checkout.
Which Sydney suburbs do you deliver to?
Everything north of the Harbour Bridge up to Palm Beach: Lower and Upper North Shore, the Forest District, Manly and Freshwater, Dee Why to Narrabeen, Mona Vale and Warriewood, and Avalon to Palm Beach. Check your postcode before you book.
Are plastic moving crates cheaper than cardboard boxes?
Usually. Fifty new heavy-duty cardboard boxes cost about $150–$250 plus tape and are single-use. Our 50-crate pack is $149 delivered, no tape, stacks on a dolly, and we collect it.
How big are the crates and how much do they hold?
68 litres, about 60 × 40 × 36 cm, hinged attached lid that cable-ties shut. Safe to 20 kg. Stack full, nest empty. Roughly a large cardboard moving box.
What if a crate is lost or damaged?
Normal wear is fine. Lost or wrecked crate $25, lost dolly $50. No cleaning fee unless it comes back with paint, oil or adhesive.
Are the crates clean?
Every crate is pressure-washed and sanitised with food-grade disinfectant between hires and arrives cable-tied with a fresh label pocket.
Booking and logistics
Do I need a bond or deposit?
No. You pay the pack price at checkout and nothing else unless a crate goes missing or comes back full of paint.
Can you collect from a different address?
Yes. Delivery and collection addresses can be different, as long as both are inside our service area. Set both when you book.
Can I cancel or change my dates?
Cancel free up to 48 hours before delivery for a full refund. Date changes are free any time before the driver is dispatched.
How many crates do I actually need?
Roughly 25 crates per bedroom, plus a few for the kitchen. Use the slider on the home page to set any number from five up and it will price it instantly.
Do the crates come with labels?
Yes. Every crate has a label pocket and we supply room labels and cable ties with each delivery.
Can I stack full crates?
Stack them five high on a dolly and roll. Full crates lock together; empty ones nest to save space.
Do you hire to businesses?
Yes. Office and clinic packs of 100–300 crates start at $249 with weekday dock delivery, cage trolleys and staged collection.
What if my postcode is outside the free zone?
We stick to the north side, so anything south of the Harbour Bridge or past Palm Beach is outside our area. Ring us and we will tell you straight away, and quote $25 each way if we can still make it work.
