Timing matters more here than almost anywhere on the North Shore. Military Road backs up from about 7.30am towards the Spit and again in the afternoon, and a Spit Bridge opening adds a wildcard. We book you a two-hour window and favour early or mid-morning slots so the van is not sitting in the Spit Junction crawl with your crates on board.
