Moving Crate Hire St Ives

St Ives homes are large, the blocks are larger, and the move usually takes longer than a weekend. Four and five-bedroom houses off Mona Vale Road, Killeaton Street and the streets running into the bush are the norm, so the Family Burrow and Big Burrow packs get picked most often, and both come with a dolly to keep two or three people loading at once.

The driveway is the thing to plan for. Many St Ives drives run steeply down to a garage below street level, and after rain the leaf litter off the gums makes them slick. Our driver will not run a loaded dolly down a wet slope, so we carry short nested stacks or set up at the top and work in trips. If the garage is the easiest drop point, say so in the access notes.

Staging is the St Ives way: the shed and the garage first, then the living areas, then the kids' rooms the night before the truck. Two weeks of hire is included so you can pack in that order without paying twice, and we can split a delivery between the garage and the house. Windows are two hours, seven days, with 7am weekday starts before the school run clogs Mona Vale Road.
