What moving in Forest District is actually like

The Forest District covers Frenchs Forest, Forestville, Killarney Heights, Davidson, Belrose, Terrey Hills and Duffys Forest, and it is the easiest delivery on the north side. Most homes are 1960s and 70s brick houses on a wide block with a carport or a double garage. The driver backs in, unloads a nested stack, leaves the dollies and is gone in ten minutes.

Split-level houses are the local quirk. Half the storage sits down a set of internal stairs, so we usually drop the crates on the main level and leave you a dolly for the flat runs. Stacked five high, a full dolly rolls across a garage slab or a driveway without a fight.

Out past Terrey Hills and Duffys Forest the blocks get bigger and some driveways are long, unsealed or gated. Give us the gate code and where the house sits on the block, and we will drive in rather than leave crates at the letterbox. Nothing about that costs extra as long as you are inside our northern service area.

Warringah Road and the hospital precinct are the traffic pinch points, so we favour windows either side of the peaks. Small jobs are welcome here too: five crates for a granny flat or a study is $20, and we still deliver and collect for free.
