- 50 × Crocodile crates with clip-on lids, 60L or 100L at the same price
- 1 dolly included, plus a label card on every crate
- Two weeks of hire included
- Free delivery and collection, Harbour Bridge north to Palm Beach, seven days
- No bond, no deposit
Want the heavy-duty crates instead? The Two-Bedder is the same 50 in warehouse-grade 68L crates for $189.
Why Crocodile crates cost less
They are not warehouse-grade. Wombat crates are built to survive years on removalist trucks and come back to the depot to be washed and sanitised between hires. Crocodile crates are good 60L and 100L crates with clip-on lids. Same driver, same two-hour windows, same two weeks, same no bond. You give up the heavy-duty build and keep the difference.
Crocodile Crates run on their own diary: one clear day’s notice for any size, so book today for the day after tomorrow at the earliest.

Is the Crocodile Two-Bedder the right size?
Pick the size at booking, same price either way: 60L is the everyday crate for books, kitchen and clothes; 100L is half as big again and suits bulky light things like doonas, toys and the shed. Want a mix? Book one size and message us.
As a rule of thumb, allow about 25 crates per bedroom plus a few extra for the kitchen and bathroom. For an office, five crates a desk is a fair start, plus a few for the kitchen and the comms cupboard. The Crocodile Two-Bedder is built for a two-bedroom home or a small office. If you get halfway through packing and run short, message us and we’ll drop more crates over.
Also the right size for
- A two-bedroom house or flat, kitchen included
- An office of eight to ten desks
- A renovation you are living through
- A share house where everyone chips in
Two weeks of hire is included. Need longer? Extra weeks are $1.50 a crate per week, so this pack is $75 for each extra week. Choose them at checkout, or message us before the collection date and we'll add them.

What is Crocodile Crates?
Our budget range: plastic crates with clip-on lids in 60-litre and 100-litre, same price either way, hired on exactly the same terms as the Wombat crates. Two weeks, free delivery and collection from the Harbour Bridge to Palm Beach, no bond.
Why are Crocodile crates cheaper than Wombat crates?
Because they are lighter-duty crates, not warehouse-grade ones. Wombat crates are built to survive years on removalist trucks and come back to the depot to be washed and sanitised. Crocodile crates are good lighter-duty crates with clip-on lids. The service around them is identical, so the only thing you give up is the heavy-duty build.
How much notice do Crocodile orders need?
One clear day, whatever the size. Book today and the earliest delivery is the day after tomorrow. Crocodile Crates run their own diary, so a busy Wombat day does not close a Crocodile one.
Are the crates strong enough for books and kitchen things?
Yes, for everyday loads. Fill a 60L crate to what one person lifts comfortably and it carries and stacks fine. The 100L crates are for bulk, not weight: linen, toys, coats and camping gear. If you are moving a library or a garage of tools, take the Wombat crates.
